What We Do
"Helping Maine Kitties Live the Life They Deserve."
Sanctuary
Our ultimate goal is to do what is best for the kitties. We always try to do what is best for them. Whether that is spaying/neutering and returning to their communities or in severe cases we can help dwindle down the community. Cat colonies should always be returned to their homes unless they are in danger.
Education
Through our social media accounts and email lists we share relevant information about caring for the feral, stray and community cats of Maine. We also teach you how to take care of your pets.
Advocate
We believe that the best way to help the kitties of Maine is by avoiding overpopulation and illness through sterilization and vaccination programs. We offer help with information and transportation to spay/neuter clinics and TNR programs in Maine.
Partners with Purrpose
There are so many kitties that need our help. We believe in working as a community with as many Mainers and services we can to make it happen. This is vital to our success, and we cannot do it alone. We ensure that our partners practice our core values and cruelty free practices. Our Director is a Fear-Free Certified Professional and ensures we all practice safe and ethical practices.
Foster
When Maine kitties need our services, we provide them with good homes to recover from surgery, socialize with people, and regain trust in humans once again. Our Foster Parents are volunteers who are devoted to helping these kitties reacclimate to home life.
Donations and Purrchases
You are the reason we are able to do what we do. Our primary source of support is from product sales. Every purchase goes to kitties right here in Maine. We are proud to be a 501c3 registered profit. We want you to know that your money is going to a reputable nonprofit organization.
